After spending several years as an educator & coach working with middle and high school athletes, I decided to pursue a masters degree in sports psychology at the University of Denver. My philosophy on working with athletes has been developed through my experiences in the classroom, in the weight room, and on the sports field. I believe that behaviors are motivated by two guiding forces: 1. developing abilities that serve to maintain or enhance one’s self, and 2. finding meaning in what one constructs as an authentic existence.

I am dedicated to advocating for the growth and development of the performers I work with, emphasizing authenticity and empowerment in our working relationships. My enthusiasm for this field stems from my own experience growing up as a tri-sport athlete, and it has continued to deepen through my higher education journey. My love for this work has expanded exponentially through my experiences playing collegiate softball, coaching, working in ABA therapy, and pursuing a master's degree in sport and performance psychology. I enjoy helping others discover their path to exponential growth, fostering a collaborative environment that includes consultants, performers, coaches, and even parents to support the performers' success.

My consulting revolves around helping athletes cultivate mental skills they can employ to reduce performance anxiety and increase performance excellence. My personal struggles with performance anxiety and coping with the pressures of being a collegiate and elite level student-athlete are what fuel my desire to help other athletes have a more satisfying sport experience. I utilize a person-centered approach to consulting – considering the whole person rather than just the "athlete". My work revolves around helping athletes focus on elements of their game that are within their control rather than expending limited mental energy sources on uncontrollable factors.
